Rave: Indian Almond Leaves

What a treat I have never had such dark water so fast with any other additives. I have used oak leaves, green tea, tannin powders and straight Indian Almond Leaves (IAL) surpasses them all. My boys have never been so happy an so are the other dark soft water loving fish. If you ever feel like getting them isnt worth it, I thought so too and am happy now I didnt put it off longer. As for increasing spawning we will see I think anything that mimics the natural habitat is going to be helpful. As for anti-bacterial and anti-fungal I have seen great results in reducing pine-conning and helping my little Dragon overcome his long fight with fin rot. He seems happier and is holding his fins out more.

New male incoming XD not that I need another one! My first overseas shipment boy I am stressed. He is gorgeous pics when he arives in but for now here is the one that I got of him online.





 

 

The babies are growing well water changes everyday hoping I get a female and male too this man will be my backup in case I dont have any males I had gotten a yellow female but she ended up suddenly dying however I do have a mustard gas and chocolate girl.  Also ended up breaking my phone by dropping it in saltwater... one of the problems working with fish...

Yellow Salamander Update

After loosing the mom and dad of the spawn I have 4 remaining babies most of which I think are males. Hopefully I can mix some other mustard gas females to cross in if I dont. I also have a yellow salamander hmpk male and chocolate female I have obtained. Both of which are lovely, I do rather love the mustard salamander look in betta especially with the yellow. I think that it is very important that if you breed betta to love the fish you are breeding, if not you might not care for the babies.

Updates! Updates! Updates!

Well now the yellow hm spawn went through all sorts of trauma and now I only have a few fry left. Daddy died mysteriously and I have the female left hopefully she will stay strong and make more babies.  I had a multi spawn one male 2 females from my multi line. Crazy boy managed to kill his sister after spawning but the other female some how managed to keep going. Seems to be a few babies left there too. Crazy male. Any case there is  a website in the works too... updates on that hopefully come sooner then this one did. :)
